Respite Care is a service offered under the DDA Community Pathways, Family Supports Waivers, and Community Supports Waiver. Respite Care services provide short-term care designed to give both the participant and their family or primary caregiver a temporary break from daily routines and caregiving responsibilities.
These services can be provided in the participant’s home or within the community, depending on individual needs and preferences. Respite Care supports the well-being of both the participant and caregiver by reducing stress and promoting balance within the household. Care is delivered by trained staff who ensure the participant’s safety, comfort, and continuity of support. Our goal is to provide dependable, flexible relief while maintaining a familiar and supportive environment for the participant.
